　～留学生が語る　世界と日本の稲・コメ・ごはん～
～Rice around the World presented by foreign students～

京都府の生協と京都大学留学生委員会で、日本と５つの国のコメ文化を比較して交流するという企画を催しました。
We held a event in which we compared rice cultures in Japan and five countries sponsored by Coop in Kyoto Prefecture.

料理は料理研究家の力石さちさんに監修していただきました。　
たった2時間で料理は全部なくなってしまいました。どれもおいしかったですね
The cooking was supervised by Sachi Rikiishi, a professional cook
Only for 2 hours were all the dishes eaten. So delicious!!

To your surprise, we borrowed a lot of photos from the United Nation.
These photos include wars, lives, and... of all the people around the world.
何と、今回は、国際連合から写真を借りてきました。
これらの写真には、世界の様々な戦争や生活などの様々な写真が含まれています。

It was fortunate we were able to borrow the precious photos from UNHCR.
↓国連難民高等弁務官事務局から借りた難民写真です。よく借りてこれたと思います。

We compared the textbooks on history of various countries.
We could find and realize a lot of differences.
各国の歴史教科書を見比べました。
色々な違いが分かって良かったです。

The photos tell us the situation of the displaced people.
難民の現状を知りました。

They are talking about what they felt about the photos.
写真の感想について熱く語ってます。

"Flavour Restaurant"「美味飯店」

Did you enjoy the November Festival Eve Festial?
There we opened a restaurant named "Flavour Restaurant".
We served dumplings, steamed dumplings, pork buns, and Sichuan pungent noodle of authentic Chinese taste by Chinese students in Kyoto University.
皆さんは、11月祭前夜祭に来てくれたでしょうか？
11月祭前夜祭では、私達は「美味飯店」という中華料理店を出店しました。
餃子、水餃子、肉まん、坦坦麺、茶卵を、京都大学に在籍する中国人留学生が、正真正銘の本場の味を再現しました。

How is it? -- Ummm, very good!
お味は？ -- とても美味しいです！

These are pork buns. They are also very tasty!! こちらは肉まんです！ これも美味しいですよ♪

Come on, everybody! Low price, Delicious!! いらっしゃいませ♪ 安くて美味しいですよ♪
