Hello, and welcome to the New Foreign Students Welcome Party! こんにちは。ようこそ新入留学生歓迎会へ！

Wow, a great number of guests in such a narrow space. わあ、こんな狭いところに、すごく沢山の人だ。

Have you ever seen Ouendan? Kyoto University Ouendan(which means Cheering Group) warmed up the party with its powerful and cheerful performance! Ouendan is one of the traditional club in Japan.	皆さんは応援団に会ったことがありますか？京都大学応援団が力強くて華麗な演舞で、歓迎会を盛り上げてくれました。応援団は、日本の伝統的なクラブです。

The next performance was a Mongolian dance! The performer "SO BODA" is a member of our committee. Her dance was beautiful and exotic enough to attract the audience. 次は、モンゴルの踊りでした。踊ったのは蘇博徳(そぼだ)で、留学生委員会のメンバーです。彼女の踊りは美しくて魅惑的で、観衆を引き付けていました。

The last entertainment is what we call "Crazy Dance". Everyone danced to music. Exciting dance, by excited people, with exciting music.	最後の楽しみは、何といっても「熱狂ダンス」です。皆は音楽に合わせて踊りました。熱狂的な踊り、熱狂的な人々、そして熱狂的な音楽でした。

今年予定している行事
留学生と日本人の国際交流や支援のため、留学生委員会では、今年も以下の行事を予定しています。
4月：新入留学生歓迎会
5月：鴨川でバーベキュー
6月：スポーツ大会
8月：泳ぎに行く
9月：山登り
10月：新入留学生歓迎会
11月：紅葉を見に行く
12月：冬のパーティー
どの行事でも留学生、日本人を問わず、誰でも自由に参加できます。その他にも、定期的に楽しい話や相談が気軽にできる国際カフェなど、たくさんの行事を計画しています。詳細はホームページや毎月のライフステージに掲載します。

新入留学生歓迎会(4月25日(金)18:30～)
4月25日(金)の18:30から吉田食堂で新入留学生歓迎会を行います。新入生だけでなく、誰でも気軽に参加して下さい。入場料300円(新入留学生は無料)で、食事や食べ物が無料です。皆さんのお友達を連れてきて楽しんで下さいね。

留学生でも、日本人でも、誰でも大歓迎です。少しでも興味のある方は、ホームページをみたり、メールを送ったり、行事に参加してみて下さい。皆さんの参加をお待ちしています。

In order to promote international communication among foreign and Japanese students, and also to help them to live in Japan, the Foreign Students Committee is planning the following events this year.

May：Barbcue at Kamogawa riverside

Oct：Welcome Party for new foreign students
Nov：viewing autumn-colored leaves
Dec：Winter Party
Anyone can join. Foreign or Japanese doesn't matter. And also many more activities are under consideration, including our "International Cafe" where everyone can have a joyful talk or ask us or other students for advices.
Welcome Party for New Foreign Students(April 25)
We’ll hold a welcome party for new foreign students on April 25th(Friday), from 18:30 at Yoshida Restaurant. Not only new students but anyone is welcome! Only 300 yen for entrance fee (free for new foreign students).Free food and soft drinks! Bring your friends and have fun!
