例年になく準備が進んでいるので、４月２７日（月）から始めたいと思います。参加を希望される方は、生協留学生委員会FSC1996@gmail.comまでメールをください。

授業を担当してくれるのは、去年の後期も担当してくれたジョージです。授業の進め方と人柄は折り紙つきですので、ぜひぜひ連絡ください。待ってます。

背景：

皆さんは「らいふすてーじ」という冊子をご存知ですか？京大生協学生委員会が月に一回発行しているフリーペーパーです。その中にある「留学生TIMES」というコーナーでは、京大留学生委員会メンバーが毎回自分の国のことを書いています。しかし、ここから情報を発信するのが委員会のメンバーだけではもったいないと私たちは考えました。そこで、作文コンクールを開催し、優秀な作品を「留学生TIMES」に載せることにしました。

テーマ：「Global　 message to Japan ～留学生TIMES 作文コンクール～」

内容：あなたが日本の人たちに伝えたいことを書いて下さい。自分の国の自慢、日本に来てびっくりしたこと・困ったことなど何でもかまいません。「らいふすてーじ」は、友達とご飯をたべながら、通学の電車の中で、気軽に読んでもらえるような冊子ですので、気軽に応募して下さい。留学生ならではの作文をお待ちしています。

・ 作文について

字数は８００字程度です。

日本語または英語で書いて下さい。

写真を添えてもかまいませんが、二枚までとします。

・ 応募方法

件名を「応募」として、本文に名前、性別、出身国、所属、電話番号、現住所、郵便番号、携帯電話とパソコン両方のメールアドレスを書き、作文をwordファイルで添付して

message2009 at gmail.com ( at を @に変えてください) に送って下さい。

写真がある場合はも作文と一緒に添付してください。

作文の著作権は留学生委員会に属します。

・ 賞

最優秀賞（1位）　　　１名　　賞金一万円

優秀賞（２位）　　　　２名　　賞金五千円

佳作（３位）　　　　　５名　　賞金二千円

※応募者全員に参加賞があります。

・ 評価基準

独特な視点で書かれているか、発想がユニークかどうかなどが評価基準となります。日本で暮らしている人が「へぇー」と思えるような作文をお待ちしています。日本語や英語の間違いは評価に関係しませんので、日本語・英語が苦手でも安心して応募して下さい。

審査方法：審査はa message to Japan　の実行委員会の審査員により実施します。（審査員は国際交流センターの家本太郎先生、留学生委員会、学生委員会のメンバーからなっています）

「Global　 message to Japan ～an essay competition for international students～」

Background

Do you know「らいふすてーじ」(Life Stage), the magazine published by Kyoto University students once a month？ There is a column called「留学生TIMES」(International Student Times)、written by the members of the International Students Committee. We’d like to expand its scope and involve more writers in its publication. With that aim in mind, we have created this contest.

Title：「Global　 message to Japan ～an essay competition for international students～」

Contents

Write a message that you would like to send to the Japanese people. For example, you could write about something you are proud of in your country, culture shocks, things that you find confusing in Japan, etc.

「らいふすてーじ」is read by people who are enjoying their lunch or on their way to school. So do not write it too seriously. We are waiting for your entry.

About the essay

Please write your essay in about 800 words.

Please write your essay in English or Japanese. (Both are ok, so write it in whichever you are good at)

You can include pictures, but no more than 2.

How to enter

Please write “entry” as the e-mail subject、and include in the body your: 1.name, 2.gender, 3.nationality, 4.faculty, 5.phone number, 6.address, 7.postal code number, and 8.your computer and cell phone e-mail addresses. Include the essay as an attachment, and send your entry to message2009 at gmail.com (please change at to @) .

If you have pictures, please send them as attachments.

About the evaluation

We are most interested in unique entries. We are looking for people who can surprise people living in Japan with their entry. Some grammatical errors are not important, so please send us your essay even if you are not good at English or Japanese. The essay will be evaluated by our team that composed by Mr.IEMOTO and the members from ISC (International students committee) and SC (students committee).
